As an organization, we respect the requirements set forth under AODA 2005 and its associated standards and regulations. We understand that we have a responsibility for ensuring a safe, dignified, and welcoming environment for everyone. We are committed to ensuring our organization’s compliance by incorporating accessibility legislation into our policies, procedures, equipment requirements, training, and best practices.

MSF is committed to providing a barrier-free environment for all stakeholders including clients/customers, students, job applicants, employees, volunteers, suppliers, and any visitors who may enter our premises, access our information, or use our services. We will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements set out in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and Long Term Care Homes Act (LTCHA) and in accordance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards.

MSF is committed to the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of a multi-year accessibility plan, which outlines the organization’s strategy to prevent and remove barriers and meet its requirements under AODA 2005.

MSF is committed to the incorporation of accessibility criteria and features when designing, procuring, and acquiring goods, services, facilities, or self-serve kiosks.

MSF is committed to the training of all employees and others providing services to people with disabilities on behalf of MSF on the requirements under AODA 2005 and the Human Rights Code as it pertains to people with disabilities.
